With the reduction of fossil fuels being used as a power source there has been a big emphasis on sourcing alternative fuels from the correct types of waste to power the cement kilns and power stations and this has become very prominent from a commercial responsibility point of view.

Greengenic has secured several contracts for the supply of different calorific values and shred size alternative fuels both refuse derived fuel (RDF) and solid recovered fuel (SRF) into the UK and Europe, we can fully manage the supply chain solution providing an efficient collection service.

The alternative fuels when baled or baled and wrapped can be transported on either curtainsiders, containers or bulk ships and all help can be given with regards to notifications for transfrontier waste movements and the setting up of plants to produce a good calorific fuel.
